Do you laundry at 40 °C instead of 60 °C, if not strictly necessary to use 60 °C. For my washing machine, it saves about 50% of electricity.

Great tip! 40 °C is 104 degrees Fahrenheit btw. I wash most of my clothes 30°C to conserve energy, except my bed linen (60°C to kill all the dust mites).
